Large diameter (1200mm) Pipeline work on Vancouver Island.
This involved a work in an environmentally sensitive wetlands area where there was no access roads. Due to the difficult site access, Knappett Industries proposed the use of helicopters to perform the work without disturbing the surrounding wetlands. Thanks to the innovative solution and execution of the work, the HDPE supply main replacement of the Trestle section was completed and exceeded the owner’s satisfaction. Work included the removal of a 1350mm wood stave water supply line.
